Cancellation conditions, sales and payment conditions for ONLINE room reservations with Hellerup Parkhotel
Room bookings made through ONLINE may be cancelled without extra cost until 12.00 on the day prior to the day that is specified on the reservation confirmation. After this time the reservation will be billed as “No Show”, i.e. at the confirmed price on the reservation.
Rooms are at the disposal of the guest from 14.00 on the date of arrival until 12.00 on the day of departure unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Cancellations must always be made in writing specifying the reservation number via fax or e-mail.
The guest’s credit card is approved at the time of ONLINE room reservation and payment must be made with this card or by cash.
The credit card number and expiry date must be given when ordering. Without this information the reservation cannot be accepted.
Rules of cancellation
Reservations of up to 5 rooms
Orders for rooms may be cancelled without cost until 12.00 the day before arrival.
Should cancellations arrive later the customer is required to compensate 100% of the order.
If the customer does not turn up (No show), he is required to compensate 100% of the order.
Reservations for groups
Cancellations of entire groups must be made in writing 6 weeks prior to the start of the arrangement.
Upon cancellation of entire groups later than 6 weeks prior to the arrangement, the customer is required to compensate the hotel to a maximum of 75 % of the agreed price, all-inclusive.
Upon cancellation later than 8 days prior to the arrangement the buyer is required to pay the full amount for ordered services. Services that cannot be cancelled must be paid in full.
Reduction in the number of participants must be communicated to the hotel no later than 3 weeks prior to the arrangement. Reductions in excess of 35% after this time will require compensation as mentioned in item 2.
The hotel will endeavour to rent the reserved facilities to a third party, in which case the responsibility of compensation will be annulled in whole or in part.
In the event of strikes, lockout, fire or similar unforeseeable events beyond the control of the hotel, it reserves the right to cancel the order without compensation of any kind. The hotel also reserves the right to increase prices should the State apply measures to the hotel industry such as changes in tariffs and the like.
Other conditions of reservation unless prior written agreement has been reached:
The customer making the booking is responsible to the hotel for coverage of all costs, even if payment by group individuals is arranged, since all costs that are not paid by the individuals automatically will be debited to the main bill.
Conditions of payment: Cash on delivery. Prices are calculated on cash payment and are inclusive of 25 % VAT and 15 % service charge.
Please note that there will be a bank charge of DKK 50 on on foreign cheques under the value of DKK 4.000.
